This Solo guitar body is intended as a replacement or DIY project. Body specifications may have a +/- 1 or 2mm variance. If using this body with a non Solo neck / Solo hardware, slight modifications may be necessary in order to achieve a proper fit.

I already had a Solo Tele neck that I had bought for another project but decided I would like an actual telecaster style body. So instead of buying a kit I took a chance and ordered the TC style body. The body was excellent and did require finishing which I expected. The neck I had fit perfectly into the pocket and I’m very pleased with this guitar. I already had pickups etc but ordered a tele style bridge and pickguard at the same time . Everything came together beautifully and I now have a great Tele style guitar!! Love Solo products and will buy more in the future.

A very nice body . One note , the control cavity was not wide enough to accept full size pots . A small routing and all was well . I would use again .

Purchased this body because I wanted no screw holes for the pickguard and bridge.
I am using pickup mounting rings and a short Wilkinson compensated tele bridge to install
Humbucker sized P90 pickups in both positions. The neck pocket was very tight so I sanded it
just a bit which took 5 minutes. Routed the bridge cavity for the humbucker sized P90, made
the control cavity deeper and wider to accept a Fender 4 way switch and full size pots. Had to sand off
all the poly seal down to bare wood to apply water based stain. Since I was planing to use translucent stain
I did ask Matt to make sure that I would get a body with a nice grain which I did. The body looks perfect, thacks Matt
for the great service again. The finish is worn cherry red over sanded black with flat varnish using water based Samans
products. The result is fantastic.
