Built in collaboration with Clarke Custom Shop and now exclusive to Solo Guitars, the Katana is a high powered bridge humbucker that will cut through any mix or band setting thanks to its AlNiCo 8 magnet and heavily scatter wound asymmetrical coils. Wax potted in a custom blend of paraffin and beeswax, the Katana is the answer to modern metal and rock tones without compromising clarity and string to string definition.

The P.A.D is Corrigan Pickups take on the classic late 50’s humbucker tone and pairs perfectly in the neck with the Katana. Made with US made plain enamel magnet wire and paired with an AlNiCO 5 magnet. The P.A.D is also “half potted” meaning that the coils themselves are wax potted in a custom blend of paraffin and beeswax, however the final assembly is not potted. This is what Corrigan Pickups believes is the best of both worlds when it comes to vintage style humbucker pickups.
