My journey into pedals for my bass is still starting and this is the second pedal I’ve purchased. The Freeze really is handy during practice sessions for hearing melodic & modal ideas against a harmonic backdrop. I am still experimenting with it and may eventually find a use for it in a live or recording scenario but right now it’s a great tool to assist in practice sessions.
