bought this neck to replace the tired neck on a Squier CV Precision bass (wonky truss rod). Dropped right into the body pocket. and the screw holes were in the right place. It’s a pretty solid neck, and once it’s adjusted holds itself well. Having the slots marked out on the nut made it easier to cut the slots to the proper depth (thanks to several YouTube videos). There’s minor fret sprout on it, but this can be easily rectified. The Pau Ferro fretboard needed a bit of lemon oil. Be aware that though Fender helpfully drilled pilot holes for the tuners, you’ll need a proper set of Fender tuners to use those holes, otherwise any aftermarket tuners will require drilling new holes (I went with light Schallers, drilling for the posts on the back). You’ll also have to drill a pilot hole for the string retainer. I’d played a number of the MIM Standard P-Basses in showrooms and always found those necks to be very comfortable. Highly recommended aftermarket neck for any Fender or Squier-branded P-Bass.
