I put these on my 60th Anniversary Squire Strat, the tuners that were on it were not stable, These tuners are not only stable They stay in tune really well even using the trem .I was frustrated by the old ones, these not only solved the tuning issues, they are dead on replicas, no difference in the look, other than the bushings were a different size, but the included ones have fit the new tuners fine.

These are the best replacement vintage styled tuners to use as I’ve tried cheaper ones only to find them inadequate. I have the Gotohs on both of my Fender guitars. They provide very stable tuning (even with the whammy bar on the Strat) and are the right look. Solo Guitars had the best pricing as well as fast shipping on these.

Used these with the Solo conversion bushings for a Fender neck drilled for modern tuners, as I much prefer the vintage look and split posts. It took some patience and careful pilot hole drilling, but these look and feel incredible. Better than vintage Grovers that are double the price. And since I couldn’t find this answer anywhere until I tried it…they do in fact cover the 2-pin holes drilled on “modern” Fender necks!
