Description
At first blush, the KickAssâ„¢ might seem like a simple, heartfelt tribute to Leo Quan’s BadAssII®. A closer look, however, reveals significant improvements under the hood that put this bridge in a class of its own. We worked hard to ensure that the KickAssâ„¢ possesses the soul of the beloved original without being a knockoff. Adjustable string spacing from a narrow .687″ (17.5mm) to a wide .800″ (20mm) and anywhere in between thanks to fully adjustable pre-notched brass inserts.
Comes with screws and allen wrench
Available in Chrome, Black & Gold
Features
- Replacement stainless steel saddle inserts emphasize overtones and treble frequencies
- Mounts with a typical 5 hole configuration
- Features recessed string ball holes for a sleeker, sexier look
- Mounting style 1 retrofits the original BadAss® hole pattern

Very solid bridge. Great for dialling in the perfect string spacing over my pickup. Adjustments are easy as well.

Very solid and easy to install. Put it on a build-a-bass kit as an upgrade from the included bent-plate one.
Definitely an improvement.

I debated between this and the Leo Quan. I decided to save a few dollars with this Hipshot. I’m not sure that the high mass thing makes a huge difference, but I can say this thing is way easier to adjust than the stock fender bridge. Worth the money for the upgrade, for sure. I would someday still want to try the Leo Quan.
