I have a 1974 Rickenbaker 4001 that ended up getting the horrible “tail lift”. With the adjustment fully lengthened the intonation was still flat at the twelfth fret. I am a Ricky purist and it felt bad replacing the bridge. Let me tell you, that this was the best decision I have made. It fit perfectly and I was able to use the existing screw holes. Yes, I was sweating unassembled my baby and installing this. Now the intonation is perfect, the tone even seems better. It also looks fantastic perhaps a little too shiny for my aged beauty. LOL.
