Description

Strat® style replacement neck features a maple fingerboard fitted with 22 medium frets. If installing vintage tuners; you may be required to install 10 mm adapter bushings.

This Strat® style neck is made in Indonesia with quality tone woods.  Due to the nature of wood, no two necks are the same and may differ from what is pictured.  Never force the neck into the pocket; it should just drop into the neck pocket or be a little snug.  Remember that the finish of the neck and body will make the neck pocket smaller.

Finishing on this neck was not great. Service at Solo was great though. Changed it for a roasted maple neck that is awesome.

  2. Robert McFee (verified owner)

As my previous reviews stated a truss rod that can’t be adjusted makes this neck useless. Unfortunately the time period to register the neck expired before I could install it. So don’t buy this junk.

  3. Robert McFee (verified owner)

To amend my negative review I should say that Solo replaced the defective neck at no cost to me. The replacement is very good.

  4. louisphr (verified owner)

The neck is almost perfect. A little rough on the side of the frets and not a tight fit in the tele body, but nothing really serious. Plays amazingly well.

  5. Terrence Traynor (verified owner)

It arrived in a timely manner, it was well packaged and showed up in one piece. The neck is straight and looks good. The ebony fretboard seems smooth. The only real flaw was the sides of the frets stick out quite a bit and are pretty rough. Nothing that can’t be corrected. Overall for the price, it seems to be a nice neck.
