The Shinex Sanding sheets are a great alternative to standard sanding sheets/sandpaper. Made of a chemical fiber non-woven fabric abrasive, it’s clog-free and is a perfect thickness to fit comfortably in your hand, especially around curved surfaces due to it’s flexible design. You’ll be able to achieve an evenly finished surface without deep scratches. For convenience, perforations run through the center so it can be cut it in half.

This is an excellent product. It does a beautiful job sanding the finish of a kit I purchased from Solo Guitar. I used 400 grit, 800, and 1500 grit to finish off polishing the surface of my guitar. It worked like a charm without any residue or scratch makes behind. If you are looking for a polished look on your instrument, I would highly recommend using these sanding sheets.

This is a fantastic tool for polishing hard-to-reach areas of a guitar finish. They don’t clog up and leave a scratch-free finish. I’ll be buying them again, but probably not for a while, because they last a long time.

Fantastic product, I cut little 1x2cm squares for initial fret polish after level/crown. I use 120 then 240 and it does a perfect job of removing the tool marks/scratches from the level/crown process. The frets still need final polishing but this does a really great job of making them smooth with minimal effort. I’m able to do 3 or 4 frets with each 1x2cm square so it lasts a long time, use masking tape to protect frets.

Great product but could use a color coding guide or printing on the sheets for coarseness.

I love these sheets, and they look like they’ll last a long time. Amazingly, they just don’t clog with wood dust or more importantly, when removing paint that tends to “melt” and clog sandpaper easily. Another reviewer commended on the colour coding guide, and I agree that would be nice because when you have several, you don’t know which is which. However, I solved that problem by consulting the original Japanese maker of these that has the colours / grits on their product page and writing on each pad out of the box with a fine-tipped sharpie the grit grading. (Seems to work well and hasn’t worn off since I don’t use the corner of the pad where I wrote the number.)
