We often get asked by our customers what tools or supplies they’ll need to put together their Solo DIY kit.  So to answer the demand, we’ve put together the Solo Guitar Assembly kit.  This kit contains all the necessary tools required to assemble and wire your Solo DIY Kit with a Bolt-On neck.  All of the included items are made of the highest quality and will provide years of use.

Solo Pro Bass Notched Straight Edge
This specially designed guitar tool is used to check your bass guitar’s neck straightness of the fretboard and not just the frets. This is the only guitar repair tool to ensure neck flatness before leveling your frets. One side is for 34” (Fender and most other) long scale basses, and the other side is for 35” (most 5 string) scale basses but not meant for Rickenbacker long scale but is long enough to cover the entire length of your neck. This notched edge is CNC precision machined for a flatness of +/- .001″ and can be used with 18, 19, or 20 fret necks. Notched to the 19th fret with clearance for more frets and clearance for the nut on the other end.

Solomon 3 Wire 40 Watt Soldering Iron
The Solomon SH-813A is a 40 watt soldering iron with rubber sleeve for a comfortable grip. It has a 3 wire grounded power cord for safety. Ideal for use with traditional leaded solder.

MG Chemicals Rosin Core Leaded .22 Gauge Solder
M.G. Chemicals Rosin Activated Flux formula is used in our flux-cored Solder Wire. It’s rapid wetting and fast flowing properties results in consistent and reliable soldering every time. Cleaning becomes optional with our RA Flux core because of its non-corrosive and electrically non-conductive properties.

Solo Multi Spanner
This pocket-size toothed wench will tighten or loosen most nuts or thumb wheels found on guitars, like output jack, control pot, pickup switch, tuning machine and bridge thumbwheels.  All edges and surfaces have been chamfered and polished to avoid damage to body and surrounding areas.

Shinex Sanding Sheets
The Shinex Sanding sheets are a great alternative to standard sanding sheets/sandpaper.  Made of a chemical fiber non-woven fabric abrasive, it’s clog-free and is a perfect thickness to fit comfortably in your hand, especially around curved surfaces due to it’s flexible design.  You’ll be able to achieve an evenly finished surface without deep scratches.  For convenience, perforations run through the center so it can be cut it in half.  Comes with 80, 120, 240, 400, 600, 800, 1500 & 3000 Grit
