The Solo Fret Scale template is designed to easily guide you to proper fret slot placement on your fretboard.

Made of stainless steel our templates feature two notches for different scale lengths and designed to work perfectly with our Fret Slotting Miter Box.

Simply tape your fretboard to the template and slide the template through the Miter Box.  The index pin of the miter box will stop the template from moving, that’s when you know when you’re at the desired fret location.  Continue down the rest of the fretboard.  We recommend taping your fretboard to the template using double sided tape.
