If you are looking for a Strat body that doesn’t need a ton of prep work before you start the finishing process, then this is what you need to get! The body came well packaged and had zero flaws on it. The only thing I needed to do is just lightly sand where (I’m assuming) the CNC machine did the routing for the pickups and the wiring section to clean things up and and ever lighter sanding around the rest of the body to prep it for sanding sealer (the body was done so well that I’m not even bothering with wood filler).
In the past I purchased the same product but made from mahogany (SKU # SL-STB1M-UF). Do yourself a favor and spend the extra $10.00 as this will make your life so much easier!
