The quality of these is far superior to the Amazon or Ebay cheap pin type locking tuners. They are very smooth and the locking wheel is a captive style so it will never fall out if you keep loosening the locker. They look very nice are I would rate the quality as good as the Grover tuners I’m familiar with. The Black is more of a Cosmo Black and is metallic. I was expecting more of a flat black but the tuners are far enough from the other flat black hardware that I have that it isn’t really noticeable. I cannot fault these in any way but I’ve rated these a 4 and not a 5 star as the price with shipping is over $100 for these. Had the price been better, say $85 shipped to my door, I would have been happy to rate these 5 stars!

I have been converting all my tuners to locking ones. I got these to go on my Solo LP build as an upgrade from the conventional tuners supplied with the kit. I am very pleased with these tuners – I have Gotoh and Ratio tuners on other guitars and the solo pro are as good as the Gotoh and a little less costly. I would recommend these for sure – they are good value compared to other brands.

These are great! I saw Brad Angove always uses these on his Solo kits and I had to try them on my ESK335. I’m really impressed with their quality and operation. Oh, and I got them in Black Nickel so they look really cool too!

Vast improvement over the stock tuners in the LP kit. Added these along with a bone nut easier tuning and it stays in tune now.

These are good tuners for a good price. Almost as good in both function and looks as the open gear hipshot locking tuners. They are smooth, look nice and are a great upgrade from the tuners that come with the kit..
these are far better than what comes in the kit (the kit tuners work.. and that is about all I can say)..
