I got to see one of these it is the display model and it is unreal. I look forward to getting one to make my second pro build transparent arctic white
“Mary Kay 1957” replica with arctic white sunburst and of course all gold hardware. This is a beautiful and extremely light body, like a Squire Affinity body so so light but she is full size.

    Buddy Mack.

Nice body for sure! Well routed, perfectly aligned and has a good weigth! On mine, the flamed top looks a little shy, but we’ll see when it’s stained and varnished.

Definitely one of my favourite woods for guitars. everything was rotted out perfectly. I liked it so much that I’m planning to buy another one for my current guitar

This was my first build after almost 50+ years of playing ( yes I still suck). I found over all finish and quality of materials and workmanship excellent, very clean routing of pick up pockets. I have some experience in wood working and finishing (far from expert) applied that to this build and finishing and I’m happy with results, any deficiencies in this area were not fault of solo supplied body. I think for a first build someone who is a little apprehensive I would choose a total kit with all holes drilled for tremolo, pick guard, neck and back plate. Luckily there is a wealth of online resources available that helped me with all that and am happy overall. The one thing I wasn’t thrilled with was how neck fit ( I used a solo neck) don’t know if it was fault of neck or the way neck pocket was cut in body but it was very “sloppy” had to check and double check neck alignment before drilling (have a couple of clamps ready) for neck screws it worked out but had me on my toes. I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase from Solo again and will soon.

Quality materials and tight fit when used with the solo neck. Flamed maple responded well to varathane stain with very little prep sanding. Cavities were routed properly for a Standard aftermarket humbucker.

Only mod needed was a small drill hole through the body into the trem cavity to ground the pot to the trem claw. A very minor inconvenience and still a 5 star product. Overnight shipping was timely and I would buy again when back in stock.

This was my first build and any imperfections were due to my inexperience. Body was precise and accurate. Great buy and quick shipping to US!
