This guitar has exceeded my expectations. The pre-finished body is beautiful. I finished the neck with 12 coats of wipe on poly and lightly sanded it down with 0000 steel wool every third coat. Finished up with several polish coats and it has turned out perfect. The fret board was oiled lightly with lemon oil. The neck started out straight and true and required no truss rod adjustment to get perfect intonation and tone with the bridge. I had the project completed in around three weeks. The sounds that I get from this guitar rival my $2500 Stratocaster custom shop. I’ve had the guitar strung and have been playing it now for almost a month – great action. Wow, I was not expecting this guitar to cost small and sound big. Very pleased.

This kit was just amazing. I bought it as a B1 B stock kit. There are a couple of (extremely) slight imperfections in the paint finish but nothing i would really care about.
The neck is really quite amazing for a guitar at this price point. Dead straight and the fret ends are smooth. The neck fit into the body perfectly. The overall acoustic sound of the guitar is very nice, especially after some Ernie Ball Skinny Top Heavy Bottoms. The bridge pickup is as bright as I would expect from a Tele guitar but the neck pickup is maybe a little dark, really my only complaint from the guitar. Very little noise from the electronics.
The total weight of the guitar is about average. Lighter than my Tele style Charvel, but not by much.
This was my first kit and I will be back to buy more!
