   I took a bit of a gamble purchasing this because I couldn’t find any reviews and the cost is a fraction of what is buying it all individually. I have to say I am very impressed with the quality of this kit. The hardware is solid, and sturdy.

   The bridge has guitar through holes for strings and back mount for strings. The saddle bolts are a bit long but can easily trimmed down.

   It comes with all wiring, volume pots, toggle switches, and pickups! All of which are lower quality, but what do you expect when a good set of pickups can cost up to 3X the cost of this entire pack.

   This is a really good kit for first time guitar builders, or for people who plan on upgrading and kitting their guitars further in the future.

   Some upgradable components would be;
   – wiring kit (with high quality volume pot, toggle, etc…. see the TC Style Pro wiring kit)
   – Tuning Machines (locking tuners… can cost up to 80$)
   – Pickups (I haven’t tested these pickups yet, but considering I have some Fender Custom Shop Texas Special pickups, I probably wont try these until I build my next guitar)
   – Strings (The strings they give you with the pack aren’t terrible, but obviously play with what youre comfortable with)

   This Kit will NOT fit on standard MIM Tele. I bought to do a “Black-out” on my ’98 MIM Tele and the bridge is totally out of dimension for retro fit, not even close to matching.

   Called Solo to let them know and they issued me a returning shipping label no questions asked. They did inform me though that this kit is specifically meant for Solo’s own Telecaster DIY kits and not meant for OEM Fender use so it would really be useful if they noted this in the description. Didn’t really assess the kit after i found it wouldn’t work so cant comment on quality, finish etc.

   5 stars for customer service in the return but only 3 for the lack of crucial product info.

   Anyone wanting a retro fit bridge should check out the Babicz Z series Full Contact bridge which is what i got in the end and it is mighty nice!.
