This is a must for every guitar you value. The first thing to change and worth every penny. Some more expensive options are available for much more money but this is the true superior product. The connection and signal transfer are superb and you’ll never need to worry of your cord dislodging or your wireless transmitter coming loose.

When I purchased my first kit guitar from Solo back in 2020, I used all the standard hardware that came with the kit. Everything worked out just fine, but I did find that the cable jack connection was moving slightly from time to time as the guitar would move, causing momentary (but annoying) shorts in the signal to the amp. On my next build, I decided to upgrade to the Pure Tone jack. What a difference! The fairly inexpensive Pure Tone jack securely held the plug of my cable in place, regardless of how much the guitar/cable was moved. I have since upgraded to this jack on all my subsequent kit builds (nine and counting), and I even went back and switched out the jack on guitar build #1. Highly recommeded.

I have used these in a couple recent builds and they are great.
