Description
A direct replacement for any guitar equipped with the “Tune-o-Matic” bridge and Stop Tailpiece, this innovative solution allows for extremely fast and precise individual string height “action” adjustments as well as accurate individual intonation adjustments.
There are no gaps or voids to inhibit the transference of the vibration of the string and the resonance of the body. The “Full Contact Hardware” direct coupling replacement system for “Tune-o-Matic” style bridges mounts directly to the top of the guitar, therefore unwanted spaces between the bottom of the bridge and the top of the guitar are eliminated.
The Babicz “Full Contact Hardware” system for “Tune-o-Matic” style guitars offers unmatched stability, increased sustain, dramatically improved fullness and tone along with complete adjustability.

First, I have 3 other Babicz Original Series tremolo bridges and I’m very happy with all of them. I bought this Tune-O-Matic style Babicz as an upgrade and replacement for a Nashville style on an ES335 with intonation issues. The bridge posts are too far forward and I didn’t want to dowel and re drill to relocate them and this bridge has post screws that pull it far back enough to do the job and along with tone and sustain my ES has never sounded so good. Yes, it does change the look with a bigger bridge and some purists may not like that but I’m very happy.
I will say, and gave it only a 4 out of 5 as there were a couple of saddles that has stiff cams and I was concerned that I wouldn’t be able to adjust them. I took them off the bridge, lubricated them, and cleaned them up and they worked better after that.
Also, it would be nice if the bridge posts were stepped like the original ABR or Nashville for raising and lowering the bridge. I’m sure it’s fine for a Les Paul or SG but for the ES335, the bridge piece needs a bit more height to clear the pick ups and neck. I rummaged through my loose hardware and found some chrome/nickel washers and ring nuts to act as bridge post shims which work and aren’t even noticeable. I found the aluminum and sheet metal bridge plate shims that come with it and are supposed to mount between the bottom of the bridge and guitar body to be pretty ugly. I understand the “Full Contact” purpose of these pieces but I’ll eventually customize a beautiful piece of dark hardwood I have with an amazing note and tone to make body contact and that won’t mar the finish of my guitar.
So…all-in-all. Good bridge. I did expect a bit better from Babicz, though and as ALWAYS…
