This push in system is much better than the original screw-in arms, and it doesn’t work loose the way the screw-over collar types do. The tension is much easier to adjust with the Allen key compared with either of the other systems also. Finally, of course, it’s a breeze to remove and reattach the arm if you need to in order to fit the guitar in its case etc. I’ve upgraded all my Floyd guitars with these. Prefer this over the typical screw-down floyd arms. Much more like a strat whammy bar in the sense that I can easily remove the arm whenever I want – great for cases. Would recommend this to a friend.

Bought this to replace the stock screw in arm on my Squier Showmaster and like others have said these push in arms stay in place much better and it does not work loose so easily vs the screw on arms.

Great upgrade, I have swapped the screw in arm for this push in model on all 7 of my Floyd Rose equipped guitars. Easy to install, virtually noiseless so perfect for recording, the nylon bushing keep everything in place and eliminates the clanking noise you usually get if you want the arm a bit looser. This should be how all Floyd Rose bridges should be built.
