This case is HUGE. Having said that, made to fit a Firebird it does all that in spades. Very high quality construction, great latches (3), and a storage compartment you could fit a small car into. Hinges appear strong and case closes snugly and lid and bottom fits well together.
When looking at the size, I believe these Gibson cases could be made a bit smaller and still fit the Firebird. the case stands about 5″ taller than a regular Strat or Tele case.
All in all A+ for quality, looks and durability.

Looked everywhere to find a case to fit my Epiphone firebird correctly and couldn’t so decided to purchase a Gibson case because it was equally as expensive as the Epiphone case and I couldn’t find one of those anywhere! It’s a snug fit but fits my 2019 Epiphone firebird perfectly!
