Better but still leaves something to be desired.
The giant lump of bolt on the original Gibson/Epiphone tail piece seems to get in my way and I hoped this alternative would help. Unfortunately, the corner facing the bridge is rather sharp and still makes playing uncomfortable. I had to file it down and now I’m at peace.
I installed it on my 2024 Epiphone LP and it feels as solid if not more than the Epiphone part. I left the original studs in the body and the Gotoh posts fit perfectly.
I just really wish they had rounded off the corners.
