Solo Guitars was the only place to find this set plus a single for my next 5 string bass build.
Seamlessly shipped quickly and arrived in time for the build! Gotoh GB707’s are great!

Slotted right in to my Gretsch Junior Jet II bass: no drilling, no fuss, great looking and solid construction! Dealing with Solo was flawless as usual!

Like the man said, drop in replacement for my Gretsch Junior Jet II bass. They’re way better than the stock ones, much smoother but also firm holding the strings in tune. Great tuning machines, I would buy them again and Solo is a great place to buy them.

I used these to replace the worn and smaller tuners in my 2017 warwick rockbass vampyre. The factory tuners pegs are 6mm and these are 11mm.
They are the exact size as the factory tuner holes so I had to make them a little bigger with a sanding drum on a dreml .
Total install time was approx 30 minutes.
They feel very good and positive when turning.

I want to give a 5 star review….since these are actually really great…BUT ..I am compelled to complain. NOT with SOLO, or Even the product. Here is the issue: I ordered a set of 4 and a single, separate, key of the SAME MODEL and style in order to outfit a 5 string bass for a customer. The pictures on the site show the keys to be identical, BUT they are NOT! The backing nameplates on the set of four are smooth chrome, and the single one is satin! So they don’t all match as intended! Otherwise they are all the same, and excellent quality. I am leaving the same review for the individual key…4 star because of these inconsistencies.

They’re Gotoh, Japan-made… I’ve ordered several 5-pc sets of these before, in 2L+3R or 3L+2R configs, and they’ve all been amazing for tuning stability. Build quality is consistently great.
Oh, yeah – and a great distributor as well (that’s YOU, Solo).
