It’s a great solid feeling mechanical switch with a good firm click into each position.
I needed a replacement for the flimsy metric 3 way switch that came stock on my Hagstrom Ultra Swede. I asked the team at Solo which of their switches have the firmest click and this is the one. It maintained the original look perfectly and now I don’t have to worry any more about accidentally slipping into middle position while I’m playing. You really can’t beat the price on this switch either. I’m very satisfied with it.

I’m disappointed with that switch. Even though I checked and double-checked my wiring and soldering, the bridge pickup drops in volume once in a while until I “wiggle” the switch. I could almost live with that but what really bothers me is that there’s a screechy noise whenever I switch pickup. I thought buying a good-priced Gretsch switch was a great deal. Now, I’m not so sure. I will replace it when I get around to it.
