Other than its beautiful appearance, our Phosphor Bronze frets give you various benefits. Higher in wear resistance while making the sound warmer than ones of nickel silver do. Its hardness, HV250-290, is harder than nickel silver and little softer than stainless steel.
Each fret of the following precut phosphor bronze fretwire is cut based on a standard fretboard (43mm at nut / 53mm at 12th fret) and has an extra length by 0.5mm.

Awesome fretwire that comes ready to install. No more trimming to size, no more nipping tangs as its already done. One thing to mention is the tang is wider than jescar frets so your fret slot HAS to be big enough. Sound quality is great I didn’t notice much difference from nickel silver. Hardness was easy to tool. Tolerance is tight. I leveled a fretboard, pressed in the frets and didn’t need to level as the frets were perfectly set. Takes allot less time to refret with these frets because hosco has taken the time to prepare the frets for you. Japanese quality at a low price point. I’m sold.
