Great product. The widths are perfectly matched for d’addario exl110 string gauges. I prefer these files to my double edged stewmac files.

Absolutely perfect files. They cut fast and smooth, making perfect slots. Watch a few youtube tutorials to get a handle on the technique, then have at it!

The .010, .013, and .017 are too thick. The string wiggles around in the slot. Even the .010 is too thick to make a slot for the .017 string. There’s nothing wrong with my technique. I make good slots with good files. These guys just don’t cut it. Thicker gauges are OK, but why pay full price for only half a usable product. Buy something else.
