Between the steps of using the Kunz Scraper Plane, and a hand-held card scraper (for extreme fine scraping) the Kunz Cabinet Scraper is the perfect solution for cleaning up larger surfaces or reducing defects in the surface.  The scraper can be set to a small curve with the thumb screw, and the two-handed-thumbs-in-the-middle grip, gives you excellent control, while still removing more material than the card scraper.  The blade comes rough cut and must be ground and burnished before use.

The blade is made of high carbon German steel and hardened to 62 Rockwell C.
