Description

Whether you’re a pro or a DIYer, the Solo magnetic helping hand tool set is the ultimate addition to your workbench.

This simple to use helping hand set starts with a heavy-duty non-slip magnetic steel base that comes with 4 rubber feet preventing the base from moving or sliding around.  Attach the magnetic flexible gooseneck arms or magnetic pillars to the base and begin your work.

The flexible magnetic gooseneck arms come in two sizes and feature rubber capped alligator  clips to protect your work.  The clips can be rotated 360 degrees by loosening the thumbwheel screws.

The magnetic pillars can be placed anywhere on the base depending on the project you’re working on.  If you’re working on a PCB board with holes, simply slide the board holes over the tips of the pillars.  If the PCB board doesn’t have holes, you can use the side ledge of the pillar to press against the board to hold it in place.

Set includes:

  • 1 x Base: 9.0″ (228 mm) x 6.0″ (152.4 mm)
  • 2 x long flexible magnetic arms: 12 1/4″ (311.15mm)
  • 2 x short flexible magnetic arms: 6 ” (152.4mm)
  • 4 x magnetic pillars: 1 3/4″ (44.45mm)

Compatible magnetic USB 3X magnifying glass with LED can be purchased here

Additional magnetic gooseneck arms can be purchased as a two-pack here

High quality. The flexi alligator clips work great. So much better than those little metal stands with clips and a magnifying glass that are so hard to set up just right and then slip out of place on you, I’ll never use one of those again. I don’t have much use for the little stands because I just do guitar wiring, not circuit boards, but it looks like they would be very good for that.
