Description

This specially designed guitar tool is used to check your guitar’s neck straightness of the fretboard and not just the frets.  This is the only guitar repair tool to ensure neck flatness before leveling your frets. One side is for 25.5″ (Fender) scale guitars, and the other side is for 24.75″ (Gibson) scale guitars.

This notched edge is CNC precision machined for a flatness of +/- .001″ and can be used with 21, 22, or 24 fret necks.  Notched to the 22nd fret with clearance for more frets and clearance for the nut on the other end.

  3. Joseph Ellis (verified owner)

Fantastic piece of gear that works perfectly for the two most common fretboard scales. J. Ellis Guitarworks approved!

  4. timryan3 (verified owner)

    excellent piece of kit..get one

  5. bholt (verified owner)

Love this piece, works perfectly on our Strat and Les Paul

  6. Joseph Baker (verified owner)

Works great. I just started a small guitar repair shop at my house and this really helps get those necks straight for fret jobs.

  7. Martin Girouard (verified owner)

Works perfectly. I’m finding myself ordering stuff like this from Solo more and more rather than dealing with the higher prices and shipping hassles with Stew### and Guitarfet###. One takes forever to ship and costs more and the other has dubious quality and ridiculous shipping costs. Thank you Solo!

  8. tjb0z56 (verified owner)

NIce and thick. The edges of each notch were very shary. Used some #400 and #600 wet/dry sand paper to relieve the sharp edges. Still, a bargain compared others brands.

  9. kyle.decker (verified owner)

Solid tool, machine perfectly. Much better than my old flimsy one. Picked the old one @zon special up and it caught on something and became a ski ramp with little force. This is a sold piece and much better quality. With tools you get what you pay for. Spe da bit more and buy it once, or cheap out and take the chance of buying it often.
