PVC does not melt with acetone, unlike ABS, so CA glue seems to be the only way to adhere this. This is very difficult to get consistent results if you’re trying to install the binding before doing wood treatments like dye, and translucent finishes – that are affected by adhesives. The PVC does bend nicely with careful use of a heat gun.
