Five stars, BUT… I took out the screwed in pegs, and replaced them with the thinner ones that came with the roller bridge, and the holes on the roller bridge were 1/16th to far apart. Not really enough to plug the holes and re-drill new holes, so I just took a Dremel and very slightly widened the holes, used glue and sawdust to fill in the tiny bit of empty space, about 1/32nd, so the inserts fit nice and snug, and worked fine. Now, the bridge is WAY better than the kit bridge. Heavier, and it feels great under my wrist/hand. So smooth. It was actually quite easy and fast to re-set the intonation as well, the hex keys keep it rock solid in place, and no more retainer spring/adjustment screw buzz!

For the price this bridge is a good one if you love rounded saddle bridge. I said “rounded” because they do not “roll”.
The fact it could be “locked” is great. There is also a lot of “headroom” for intonation adjustment.
I way prefer a Gotoh bridge but this one is good to have in your shop in case of emergency.

As mentioned earlier, there is a good 1/16″ you need to Dremel out to make this fit. Quality wise was very good. Much better than what comes in the kits. Really didn’t want to damage so much paint on it to make it fit. The extra adjustments are very handy.

I ordered another roller bridge for a spare for the one on my Gretsch 6119.However when I was adjusting the Nashville Tunematic bridge on my 2019 Gibson Firebird I couldn’t get the bottom E to be not flat. I am using standard 10” to 46” gauge strings.I had to grind the end openings on the roller bridge to get it to drop onto the stock bridge posts. The guitar is intimated now.The Gibson bridge is in the case. The string action at the 17th fret is 5/64”-bottom E & 3/64”- high E.Also the curvature of the bridge closely matches the last fret good.
