The Solo Pro Master Relic Collection Pickguard features Nitro Cellulose lacquer on the front side, aged with dirt and irregular wears on the surface, and shadowed marks under the string area. Made of Bakelite this pickguard even has the 5″ tin can mark on the rear, often found on original 50’s blackguards. Made as a direct replacement for Tele style guitars and made to exact Fender® specifications.

This Bakelite pickguard is relic’d and has a nitro lacquer finish. It’s as close to the real 50s tele black pickguards as I have seen. It even has the 5″ outline of a paint can lid on the underside. Apparently Fender, back in the ’50s, used 5 inch wide paint tins to support the pickguards while being sprayed with nitro. This pickguard is worth every cent and getting it at 15% off is even better.
