This Solo guitar body is intended as a replacement or DIY project. Body specifications may have a +/- 1 or 2mm variance. If using this body with a non Solo neck / Solo hardware, slight modifications may be necessary in order to achieve a proper fit.

This finished tele body is fantastic, the finish work looks and feels great. I picked this up to build out a guitar using left over electronics and hardware from some other Solo kit builds and I’m loving it. The only “issues” I had (and they’re incredibly minor) are the neck pocket for the Solo neck was a bit too small and required a little bit of sanding for a perfect fit, and the control cavity will only fit mini pots, not full size CTS type (though that’s been the case for all the Solo TC kits I’ve picked up but it’s not a big deal).
I’m very pleased once again with Solo Music Gear and the quality of their products, can’t wait to pick up another for my next build.

The finish on the body is excellent, the only thing you have to aware of is it not a string through body ,
I decided to install a fender style vintage toploader bridge.
You still have to drill and install the bridge center and square on the body with the correct scale length 25.5 inches .
There are alot of utube videos out there that offer great how to advise.
I am using some original fender licensed parts and aftermarket licenced parts and everything fits fine.
I also purchased a low cost solo neck and it needed heal corners to be rounded and sharp fret ends,
the neck was a very tight fit in the pocket that was basically paint build up in the neck pocket overall everything worked out great ,
the neck lined up perfect without having to shim it.
