Good solid case. Hinges aligned well and latches close well. Good for price point. Lock on case doesn’t work though (which isnt a huge deal), but if that’s a key feature you want then may want to look elsewhere.

Good case at a good price. Hinges seem solid, latches close nice and tightly, case material seems sturdy enough. The interior gear storage box is really roomy with a lit that has a nice snug fit. Also, there’s a thickly padded area in the case lid that matches up with the strings, a feature you don’t usually see in cheaper cases. Overall, I’m very happy with it.
One other reviewer mentioned the lock not working. I suspect the problem might have been alignment of the cylinder, since my key didn’t go in initially either. However, you can use the tip of the key to rotate the lock cylinder until it aligns with the other slot, allowing you to then insert the key. And then the lock works just fine. It’s not really keyed (it’s a simple slab of metal where one key fits all cases), but I think the point of any case lock isn’t really to prevent theft as any thief would already have your guitar, after all, but to ensure it doesn’t come open in transit. And for that, it works perfectly.
One other point. I ordered a DIY kit and a number of other tools (files, sanding paper, fret leveler, etc) in addition to the guitar case. When it came, I was expecting several boxes but only one was in the tracking info. When it arrived, I opened that box I just saw the case, creating a bit of initial disappointment since I figured the kit was going to come later. However, I opened the case and – voila – all of the DIY guitar parts and tools were neatly and securely packed inside. Really happy that Solo took the time to use the case as intended and not over-package and create more waste cardboard.

I own three PRS Miras, and prefer a teardrop case to the big rectangle case they come with. I bought two of another brand of teardrop case before I discovered Solo. My Solo teardrop case is every bit as high quality as the other brand, at a 1/3 lower price.
