Angelus Dye is the most heavily pigmented dye on the market. Do not waster time with weak dyes. Angelus Dyes can also be diluted for desired color results. A permanent liquid dye used for many applications (like gourds, stone, woodworking, etc) but designed for use on smooth leather articles.
Many guitar builders and DIY hobbyists have used these leather dyes to stain to finish their DIY project kits.

I love that you guys sell these dyes now. I’ve done 3 of your guitar kits with these dyes, however sourcing them out was a problem and usually for double the price. I now have a great local source at a good price!

I am extremely impressed with these dyes. I tried black, sanded back, then layered red over top and it looks fantastic, especially once you put a finish on it.

Great results and colour choices. Be careful though these dyes are very rich at full strength…use a test piece first. I used half colour and half neutral and the colours still came out vibrant. Only used full strength on the base coat which was sanded back.

I wish I knew about these before going down the ColorFx, dye stains. dye powders etc, road. Really easy to apply. Can be mixed with DNA or isopropyl aclohol.

Great dye products. They can be as aggressive or subtle as you need, easy to blend and strip out with methyl hydrate. And the colors come out vibrant and pop under finish.

Made a mistake and ordered too fast (being so happy that I finally found them in Canada AND at a rather decent price)
Then noticed I missed one color I need, plus stumbled across some hardware while browsing the site (Knobs and a selector switch tip I needed)

Bought Black & Blue. Very dark and pigmented. Need to dilute it by a lot. You can use 99% isopropyl alcohol for that.
For veneer, go 6 to 1 alcohol to black dye. Much harder to sand off than they make it look on Youtube….
For Blue, at least 1 to 1, (2 to 1 preferably) else it will look purplish. if you dilute it too much, depending on the wood, it make look a tad greenish to the eye under certain lightning. Expect to do some sanding still to lighten it up a bit.
