This OEM Tune-O-Matic bridge is designed to be installed on new guitar builds and cannot be used as an upgrade bridge. If you are looking to replace your Tune-O-matic bridge, we suggest purchasing the standard FCH Tune-O-matic bridge.Â

Like my original FCH-TOM, the new FCH-OEMTOM utilizes my patented eCAM saddle technology, but with a more streamlined, sleeker appearance. Total non-floating, full contact string-to-body coupling is maintained, along with my double locking saddle feature.
Adding to production efficiencies, the new OEMTOM bridge is mounted to the guitar top with two wood screws, eliminating the typical metal body inserts. If greater neck-to-body flexibility is required, one can employ my “Quick Shim” feature. The optional .080″ thick shim can be added below the saddle housings quickly…even with the strings installed on the guitar. This eliminates the need to remove the bridge from the guitar to adapt to various neck pitches, thusly saving time on the production floor”. ~Jeff Babicz, Designer
OEM Tune-O-Matic Installation tips from Jeff Babicz:
For best intonation adjustment range, I recommend installing the OEMTOM about 1/4″ further back towards the butt end of the guitar. It mounts with the two included wood screws (no body inserts necessary!).
This is what I often do: Without mounting the two wood screws, I lay the bridge on the guitar top and install and tune the strings, then set the string height. I check the intonation of all the strings to make sure I’m in adjustment range. Then I mount the bridge with the two wood screws. Fine tune your intonation by turning the intonation screws per saddle behind the bridge. This is a double locking bridge, so the very last thing you do to ensure the best sound quality is to lock your individual saddle housings, and also tighten the side locking screw.
