I was a bit skeptical but this stuff works well. I used a buffing/polishing pad on a drill and it works well, even on deep scratches. This will not fix dents by any means and is not intended for that purpose. It needs to get some heat into the finish so it can smooth over the edges on scratches and buff up to a glossy finish again. It worked better than I expected.
This should be good to do several guitars. It’s a bit on the small side as you will need to hit it several times to be thorough on persistent buckle rash. I hit the back of the guitar I was working on about 3 times and that did the trick. Don’t stay in one spot too long and don’t over heat the finish.
Turned out better than I expected.
Be sure to wash your hands thoroughly after using this as it will leave a residue and will make your hands black if you play your guitar after using this product.

I was using a different product for ages and the manufacturer unfortunately no longer exists. So I switched to this Jescar stuff and it’s basically magic. Really great product getting rid of final scratches and swirls for a mirror like finish. I’ve been using it on all my finish work lately.

I gave this product 5 stars because it does exactly what it claims to do, and these days that’s a beautiful thing… Gets rid of the haze, and some lighter scratches from Poly finishes, which is the only type of finish I’ve tested it on. Works nicely polishing aluminum as well..
