Oxford Supply Co specializes in traditional Nitrocellulose Lacquer for guitar builders, finishers, DIY’ers, kit builders, refinishers and repairs.
Designed to be applied with a wool or foam pad however they can also applied by hand with a soft cotton cloth. The compound removes MicroFine 1500 or finer scratches and swirl marks. Wet sand to 2000 grit and then follow up with polishing.

I have used a lot of polishes over the years and never really had what I would call very good results.
However, this polish really works. I used a terry-type microfibre cloth and the polish itself to remove some serious scratches and swirl marks on a newer guitar.
I was expecting to have to use the Fine compound as well, but the Medium removed all the marks and made the guitar look like new again. I’ve used other Oxford products and found they all work extremely well. I didn’t even have to work for very long to get the results. This is simply the best polishing compound I’ve ever used.
