Description

You knew this was coming all along. How could we possibly produce a By-Tor pedal without producing its companion in battle, The Snow Dog.

The Snow Dog is another two-in-one, stompbox designed with Alex Lifeson to produce iconic sounds for live settings and professional studio environments. Just like the By-Tor, finding those familiar tones are just a knob-turn away.

Fuzz Section
Voiced to achieve those “Working Man” tones and capable of producing richly saturated creamy fuzz for epic guitar solos.

• Level: Adjusts the overall signal volume.
• Tone: Shapes the amount of treble, middle and bass.
• Sustain: Adjusts the amount of Fuzz and Note Length.

Octave Section
Multiple semitones are simultaneously combined to achieve the Snow Dog’s unique octave effect.

•Level: Adjusts the overall signal volume.
•Gain: Adjusts the amount of signal distortion.

Order Switch
This toggle provides you the ability to change the order of the Octave and Fuzz circuits in the pedal. With the toggle set to Octave First, your signal runs through the Octave section first. **CAUTION** Engaging both the Octave and Fuzz effects while ordering the Octave first will result in the Abominable Snow Dog setting, a tone only the bravest of guitarists will be able to control. With the toggle set to Fuzz First, your signal is routed through the Fuzz section first creating a super creamy note sustaining fuzz effect.

Power
Requires 9V DC negative center power and consumes about 70mA. Do not use more than 9V DC! You will damage the internal circuitry and void your warranty.

Input/Output
The Snow Dog comes with top mounted jacks for fitting on tighter pedal boards. Input – 1/4” jack on the top right of the pedal. Output – 1/4” jack on the top left of the pedal.
