Fantastic product! I applied this on a fender neck after first achieving the required vintage tint by using the oxford neck amber. Builds up nicely without runs. No issues with spatter from the aerosol either. 100% recommend.

Absolutely foolproof. If I can get a professional result with this, anybody can!

Just perfect. I would highly recommend this product. It shipped quickly, dries faster than you’d expect, and is very glossy. I’m inexperienced and even I made it look pretty good.

EXCELLENT product!
I did a project 6 months ago and am totally impressed with this lacquer.
Dries hard and easy to buff!
Thanks so much to Solo and Oxford!

I’ve used this stuff so many times now and always get the result I’m looking for!

Excellent product. Was bummed about not being able to import StewMac products into Canada and was unsure of these, but I was quickly proven wrong. Takes a lot of coats to get that deep gloss finish you see on stock Fender necks, but with some patience, it comes out fantastic. Highly recommend.

Used it for my first time spraying nitro, and it seems good to me. I bought three cans along with a can of colour for a tele body and neck and only used two cans of clear with some left over in the second one while still getting a pretty thick finish.

This was my first time using nitro and I used it on a guitar that I had applied oxblood red dye. This turned the dark red guitar orange. For that reason I’m not happy with the product.

Spray painting a 2013 Gibson bass for the first time was really exciting. I ended up learning from my mistakes and I’m thankful I was able contact Solo for some coaching and reference to the blogs.
I ended up ordering another can of frost blue and two more cans of clear coat because I burned through it by over sanding. I’m almost ready to start buffing and shinning the guitar body.
Thank you and have a great day.
PS the Oxford nitrocellulose lacquer was top quality. The kit had everything I needed to complete the project other than patient. I look forward to putting the hardware on and plugging it into an amp. I’m also excited to start another project.

Some of the best nitro spray you can get at the moment. Make sure to pair this with their sanding sealer if you are spraying brand new finish on top of anything with color rather than a repair to existing finish.

One (if not the best) nitro sprays I’ve ever tried. The nitro quality is top notch, but the spray tip is what set these apart. Just warm the can and off you go. Great solids concentration

Used all steps and stages from sanding sealer, primer, paint, and clear and this stuff works great. Give your clear a solid month to dry and sanding through stages with a light touch does the trick.

I am using the straight Oxford lac to drop fill a badly beaten-up Larrivee. This blends in much better than the CA glue typically recommended on you-tube sites. The spray will be used for the top as it is more convenient than mixing, loading and cleaning a spray gun for small jobs. Again – super service from Solo

Fantastic product! Easy to use and very forgiving.
Shoutout to Solo Guitars: Love your website, your products and especially your customer service. Ordering and delivery is soooo easy.

I am very pleased with the Oxford products!…I am in the process of refinishing my 1964 P bass ( it, like many from that era) was sanded down and a jazz p/u added…I removed the jazz pickup and stripped the bass and using the Oxford nitro cellulose primer, Daphne blue paint and clear gloss lacquer…I am amazed at the ease of applying and am certain if you follow instructions you will be very pleased also!… I am presently waiting for a month before wet sanding , buffing and polishing…all products supplied by solo guitar….Thanks!

Nice wide Spray so you don’t have to press the button as many times, so you don’t get cramps in your fingers. Covers evenly. Put over waterslide decal on Headstock wet sanded and rubbed out so you can’t feel decal. Looks great. Can’t wait to get going on Butterscotch transparent guitar body.

The tips are so much better now! Aged clear is so versatile and smooth, great stuff.
