This is a decent kit overall however there were some issues with it including a high fret that was choking out across every string, and the neck requiring a shim where it meets the body in order to achieve a usable neck pitch. With those issues solved this has become a good playing banjo.

Had to do a little shimming on the neck, and some tightening of the truss rod, but its a beautiful instrument! high quality in my opinion!

Overall a very good kit. A minor fitment issue where the neck meets the pot. All the other components fit well. Once it’s assembled and adjusted it sounds very nice, has descent sustain. Instructions are spot on and easy to follow. It is a very enjoyable project with solid results. The kit was delivered fast with great tracking information.

I have been playing banjo for a few years now and I have always wanted one with a vine of life on the fret board. So I ordered a kit and built it to my liking, I have since built 2 more all different themes and colors. I have installed tone rings on the last two making it a little more difficult but doable with a bit of patience. The sound is sharp and crisp. The kits are super easy once you get through the detailed instruction. I have sold one to a member of our jam and have a prospective buyer for my current build witch will be complete in a few days.
