Building a Solo DIY 6-string Banjo kit can be a rewarding experience. You’ll not only create a custom Banjo but also gain valuable skills throughout the process which can be applied to other guitars. Since all the challenging parts such as drilling, shaping, fret leveling and dressing are already taken care of, you’ll just need some basic tools and finishing supplies to complete it.

    Kit arrived quickly – Shipped to British Columbia from Ontario. Some missing parts but a phone call to Scott and he resolved the problem – shipped out the missing parts asap. Kit is well done – neck and frets good. Frets need dressing ( to be expected) ring – skin & back built well
    Requires skill to finish / assemble and dress frets but a good instrument usually takes time
    Well done Solo
    This kit will be as good as my Framus 6 string banjo

    A DIY guitar kit (Do-It-Yourself guitar kit) is a package that contains all the parts needed to build your own guitar, allowing you to assemble and finish the instrument yourself.
    2. Can I swap out hardware or get my Guitar Kit with no hardware before purchasing?
    All guitar kits come pre-bundled.  Unfortunately, we cannot swap or remove any hardware.
    3. Will I have to pay tariffs, duties, or additional import fees on U.S. orders?

    No. Until further notice, we are covering all applicable U.S. tariffs, duties, and import fees on U.S. bound shipments.

    The price you see at checkout is the final price you pay — there will be no surprise charges upon delivery.
