This applies to the 4 conductor version as well. Good product, flexible for easy routing. Shielding is easy to separate twist together making soldering ground very easy, just do not overheat the potentiometer when making the connection. The conductors are very small gauge making stripping a challenge. Take care not to cut any strands on the hot conductors and tin then as soon as you get the insulation off to make handling and connecting easier.

PS: Solo service was great. Items were in stock, shipped same day, arrived by UPS two days later with lots of email keeping me advised of the status.

Big disppointment: Solo was very hard to find. And it was not their fault. Every search for every part in my order was flooded by hits from Amazon, almost all American vendors even when I selected “Canada Only”. After several hours of searching, I frustration with Amazon grew and I finally fought back. I asked Bing/Chat GPT to “Give me a list of retailers selling replacement parts for electric guitars in Ontario”. Bang…there was Solo located in Concord, one of only two in the list. Unfair competition by Amazon is killing local and excellent Canadian retail. The same is true for hardware stores and almost every other retailer in Canada. If you want to buy local try Bing/Chat GPT.
