Same as the black one: This is what you want if you’re trying to make a really classy looking single coil with the cloth lead-wires. easy to work with, and a nicer presentation than the plastic 2-conductor wires.

Looks great on vintage style build. I find these easier to work with than the wires with plastic insulation.
No need to strip the end and they keep their shape when bending.

This applies to the black version as well, This wire is much easier to use than plastic insulated wire. Cut to length allowing some slack for routing, grip the wire near the end, push bak the insulation, tin the bared condctor, bend into a hook if required, insert into componenty and solder. Done. Neat & tidy. Tinning eliminated the risk of wire strippers cutting through some of the stands reducing the diamater available for soldering. This is strandes wire, flexible for routing and tinning the ends makes connections as fast and easy as with solid conductor.

PS: Solo service was great. Items were in stock, shipped same day, arrived by UPS two days later with lots of email keeping me advised of the status.

Big disppointment: Solo was very hard to find. And it was not their fault. Every search for every part in my order was flooded by hits from Amazon, almost all American vendors even when I selected “Canada Only”. After several hours of searching, I frustration with Amazon grew and I finally fought back. I asked Bing/Chat GPT to “Give me a list of retailers selling replacement parts for electric guitars in Ontario”. Bang…there was Solo located in Concord, one of only two in the list. Unfair competition by Amazon is killing local and excellent Canadian retail. The same is true for hardware stores and almost every other retailer in Canada. If you want to buy local try Bing/Chat GPT.
