By chance, I received the actual photographed body for this item as shown in July 2021.
Top quality, it is a good weight (3.8lbs as listed) very cleanly routed and precisely drilled. It is well shaped and sanded, ready to go for the finish of your choice.
An after-market Strat SSS pick guard mates to it perfectly as does a Mighty Mite licensed Fender neck and a Floyd Rose Rail Tail (meant to fit on standard Fender guitars, I expect most other 6-screw Strat bridges will fit fine based on this…)
I feel you can use this with confidence for any partscaster build and be the envy of your peers if you apply a finish that accents the grain.
I cannot overstate how accurate and cleanly made this body is.

Really lovely Ash body. Great routing work and well sanded. There was a small router burn mark in the tight corner of the body just above the neck socket that I didn’t notice until after sealing, so just check yours. Also this body comes pre-drilled for a 6-screw trem bridge. That’s great if you are using a 6-screw but I’m using a Hipshot 2-point trem. There is no reason to have those holes predrilled.
