This Solo guitar body is intended as a replacement or DIY project. Body specifications may have a +/- 1 or 2mm variance.   If using this body with a non Solo neck / Solo hardware, slight modifications may be necessary in order to achieve a proper fit.

First off there is quite a lot of drilling you will need to do. The passage from the main cavity to the output jack, bridge grounding wire and most mounting holes need to be drilled by you. I made the mistake of pinning the Fender bridge assembly I was using to the string holes through the body, marking and drilling the bridge mounting holes only to find the holes through the body were in the wrong position. When I mounted the neck, and added the pickguard I realized the bridge was in the wrong position too far back to intonate to a 25.5 scale. The neck pocket was a bit loose for a Fender type neck, but the mounting holes were to the Fender pattern. I therefore, including the back and front had 15 holes to plug and redrill. In the end it made a really nice light guitar. Do a good layout before any drilling. I don’t know what bridge this body was designed to use.
