Thought it best I write this review as nobody else had yet.

Shipped very fast and it was well packaged!

First: the bridge mount holes are drilled for a 2 1/16th bridge plate. I wanted to use a 65’ reissued fender bridge so I filled the holes with toothpicks and wood glue then re-drilled for 2 3/16th.

Noticed the control cavity was not routed quite deep enough for the 5 position selector so I used the Dremel to make it slightly deeper. During the process I noticed this body is not 1 3/4” thick as per the specs. It’s actually 1 11/16’s. Not an issue in my case. Made enough room for the selector to seat properly.

Neck pocket specs in the listing are accurate. In my case I was using a Squier vintage modified 70’s 9.5 radius neck and it seated properly with ever so slight sanding on the heal. Perfectly straight and the holes lined up fine.

I’m super happy with the nitro vintage white paint. It did have one slight crack in the paint straight out of the box next to the neck pocket which seems to be a common spot for Strats to crack from over tightening neck screws. I’m not fussy and you don’t notice it unless you’re looking for it. FedEx did deliver it in -28C and it spent an hour in the cold before I got home and brought the box inside. I suppose that could have caused it(?)
    Meh. No worries.

Overall it was a fun and inexpensive build. The weight of the alder body came in very close to my other classic series Strats at 7lbs 6oz and nowhere near as heavy as my 12lb 77’ Strat. Most importantly, it sounds and plays great!

My only minor gripe is that 2 1/16th bridge plate spacing. I suspect most dudes who want a nitro body will want a vintage style bridge so although this was a minor inconvenience, it’s still something that should be in the specs. I should have emailed Scott and asked. Never assume! Lol

Hope someone finds this info useful.

    Happy building!

The arm contour is done at an absurd angle. It looks and feels awful. Route was not deep enough for a standard 5 way selector, as the previous reviewer mentioned.

In general I like what I bought, but the cavity depth seems like such a silly thing, just make it deeper so we can use a legit switch, the body is thick enough. Setup and build out is one thing, but when you have to take a router to a new body, because its an 1/16th to shallow seems kinda looney.
