Tremolo setup blocks are the “hidden gem” when setting up any tremolo style bridge.  By simply inserting the blocks in the back of the trem cavity, the bridge is locked into place.  You can now back out the trem springs and continue with your setup such as restringing, intonation etc.  Once you’re done, just tighten the trem springs until the block slides out and your trem should be back in position.
