Description
The Hosco professional stainless steel fret cutter is the best tool for trimming the ends of newly installed stainless steel fret wire.
The high carbon steel jaws are flush-ground so you can get the cutter extremely close to the edge of the fingerboard, helping you remove as much excess fretwire as possible. The result is a cleaner cut without pulling the wire, so you’ll need less filing.
The long rubber-coated handles allow for a much more comfortable grip – essential when installing multiple frets!
They can also be used for cutting fretwire to length before installation.
