Great shims for neck angle adjustment. They are not as side as the pocket itself, but can be cut to length as needed. They sand very easy to get a nice even taper for the correct angle and maximum surface contact, and will not compress over time like cardboard or sandpaper might.

I bought 3 of these practical shims because I needed to create a wedge shim for my neck pocket. This is a great alternative, solid, easy to cut and sand, and do the job beautifully.

Great shims, I would have docked them one point for not being very wide to fill the whole neck pocket (but plenty long enough), but for the price vs. the big name luthier supply store’s shims, it’s an incredible value. I’ve even used one cut into pieces to shim a fretless bass nut and the sides of a neck pocket to fill gaps in a project with a new neck.

Haven’t used yet, and by the photo thought there’d be more than one. However, I think these shims will be good!

Great shims. Easy to cut, fit, glue and sand. I used them to fill a gap between the neck and high E side of the neck pocket.
They take the stain very well so the joint is invisible. They could be a bit wider to fill the neck pocket, that would be better.

Another awesome product offered by Solo Music.
I use these for so many repairs and of course as shims.
    SOLO Rocks!
