I am doing an SG build for a friend and started using the Stew Mac Heritage Cherry nitro. After many, many coats it was getting to where I thought it was dark enough. After an unfortunate mishap with clear and a spray tip which did not properly fit the can I sanded down and needed to reappply the color and decided to go with Solo brand. This is much darker per coat and really got the tone I was looking for. If you want a deep, dark transparent cherry I’d go with Solo. If you want a very transparent and brighter cherry, Stew Mac may be for you. I, personally, try NOT to buy anything from Stew Mac though.

Excellent Nitro and worked like a charm on a headstock break finish repair.
It can be thinned to suite your strength of red which what I did and the results are wicked.
